Our History

Four Rivers Community School opened in the Fall of 2003 with Kindergarten and First Grade. Currently, we educate about 350 students in grades K-12.

As a two-way dual-language immersion program, our students spend one week in full Spanish immersion and one week in full English immersion. All of the academic areas are taught through each language without translation. Typically, by the time students spend 5-7 years in a two-way immersion program they are fully bi-literate (reading, writing, and speaking in both languages.)

Through our program, 8th grade graduates earn nationally-recognized college credits in Spanish as well as meet their high school foreign language requirements.

Four Rivers Senior Prep students continue their Spanish language through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and bilingual courses.
