Things Kids Say!
During our open house we had a reception table set up in the multi-purpose room for our guests. During lunch the kindergarten class walked by the table and a student stopped tolook at the cake, the neighboring student said, "Don't touch that cake, its for the humans!"

A student in Mrs. White's class had been corresponding in her writing journal about a fish she bought the last weekend at Petco. Mrs. White's response was, "I love fish! Can you please write and draw nicer? Remember PRIDE...Mrs. White." The student later wrote her this note:
Dir (dear)Mrs. White: Wo (who)is PRIDE? I tek (think) he is a fish.

During the first day of Kindergarten Spanish Immersion class, Senora Sotelo began reading a story to the children in Spanish and a little boy raised his hand and said. . .
"You know, if you read that in English we could all understand."
